Viva Las Vegas

Kjarom and I decided that we are due for a break from life for a weekend. We've both been working so hard in school/work and we believe we deserve to treat ourselves. Since we will be in this wonderful city for HIS birthday:

Tokyo, Japan

We decided to go here for the weekend after my birthday since I don't think I've ever been there and if I have, it was when I was TINY and going to my brothers soccer tournaments...:

2011 ... Dreams Really Do Come True

It sure has been a while and it has become more and more clear that I am no good at blogging. Kjarom and I feel like we never have anything super interesting to post, but how about a little catch up?

It is 2011 . . . so much will happen this year and it will take us to a new step in life. I can't believe I can now say that I will be graduating from college this year. School has been super difficult and so stressful at times that I just want to pull all my hair out, but my wonderful husband said something to me on January 31st that helped me get through a super stressful week. He said, "just think hun...today is the last day you will ever be in school in January." He always knows exactly what to say to make me smile and bring my spirits up. I know I wouldn't be able to make it though these stressful days of school without him.

Kjarom is such a hard worker. He works everyday and goes to school ... he sure is a trooper! I keep telling him to give me a year and then he can start to relax a little more. I'm so grateful to have someone as determined and hard working as him.

Cheers to another year of happiness and dreams coming true.

Basketball Gods

Boy have the basketball gods been with the Jazz! Those of you that really know me, know that I'm a true, hardcore Jazz fan. If I'm at home watching the game I'll be yelling at the screen. If I'm at the game, I'll be booing Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher.... and occasionally the officials. Kjarom and I were able to attend the Jazz/Laker game and lets just say we must be good luck charms. They never lose when we are there! We also were able to go to the historic Jazz/Cavs game last year when they won at the buzzer.

Here we are at the Jazz/Cavs game when we first started dating

Here we are 11 months later and happily married at the Jazz/Lakers game

Don't let the picture fool you!

This post is for all those that are living away from their parents. When you go out to buy dishwasher detergent, make sure it says dishWASHER detergent and not just dish soap. Was I really supposed to know the difference!? Don't trick me and put a picture of a shiny glass on the outside of the bottle. How could I not think that was for my dishwasher? This is what happens when you put dish soap in your dishwasher:

Don't worry, the floor is now very clean because the bubbles filled up the WHOLE kitchen. We only thought to take a picture when we were almost done cleaning up. So don't let my mistake become one of yours! OOPS!

One Step Closer

Yay! Kjarom was accepted into the PR program at BYU yesterday. I am so proud of him and all of his accomplishments. He is so determined and such a hard worker. I never had any doubts that he wouldn't get in. He had everything going for him. We are one step closer down our big journey. Kjarom hopes to go to Law school after he receives his PR degree. I know our Heavenly Father will continue to bless him. He has such a strong spirit and I know that everything will go just the way they are meant to go.

We went out and celebrated at his favorite restaurant Braza Grill in Murray. (:

I LOVE YOU SWEETIE AND I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!!
